Chapter President

Melissa worked at various airports in San Diego and held a diverse list of roles within the field of “Business Aviation.”  Some of those roles have included customer service, maintenance project management, and repair station document procurement to name a few. Melissa’s dynamic experience  led her to her most recent role as Business Development for a local San Diego FBO. There she established the service level standards, customer acquisition & retention strategies, fuel sale strategies, etc., while leading a team of Customer Service Representatives.  

Prior to this role, Melissa managed the accounting of a Carlsbad based FBO. All of these skills make Melissa the ideal candidate to service as Treasurer for our San Diego Chapter.  

Melissa is currently taking a break from the workforce and is focusing on completing her Bachelor’s of Science in Business. She remains volunteering with WAI as the Chapter’s Treasurer.
